ISES

International Special Events Society Member Since 6/1/2011

“ISES was founded in 1987 to foster enlightened performance through education while promoting ethical conduct. ISES works to join event and meeting professionals to focus on the “event as a whole” rather than its individual parts. ISES has grown to involve over 5,500 members active in over 50 chapters throughout the world. The solid peer network ISES provides helps special events professionals produce outstanding results for clients while establishing positive working relationships with other event colleagues.”

PLASA

PLASA is the lead international membership body for those who supply technologies and services to the event, entertainment and installation industries. As a pro-active trade association, it looks after the interests of its members and seeks to influence business practices and skills development across the industry.

PLASA owns and manages the PLASA Show and PLASA Focus events and publishes leading industry magazines Lighting&Sound America, Lighting&Sound International and Protocol.

PLASA is a membership organization with an international network of 1240 members, working in partnership to raise standards, improve skills and strengthen the events, entertainment and installation industries. PLASA provides members with a range of business, technical and commercial advantages.

WFEA

Washington Festivals & Events Association(WFEA) is a nonprofit tax-exempt 501(c)6 Washington State corporation dedicated to promoting the common business interests of the festivals and events industry in Washington State and to assist the members in the improvement of their business condition by providing opportunities for professional education, and leadership development, for the festivals & events industry. Programs include the annual Northwest Festivals & Events Conference, regional seminars, networking, and publications such as the festival magazine. 60,000 copies of the calendar magazine are distributed throughout the state of Washington at no cost to ensure visitors and communities may share, celebrate, and experience the heritage and special character of the community in which they live or visit.

Festivals and events play a vital role in the development of tourism and economic opportunities. It is the role of WFEA to improve the understanding, recognition and appreciation of festivals and events in society, as people come together to share and celebrate their arts, heritage or special characteristics.
